Mobile App to Withdraw EPF Pension and Amount

Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is planning to develop Mobile App to withdraw pension and PF amount by its pensioners and subscribers. The EPFO app is likely to be made available soon. The subscribers can just use their smartphone to withdraw EPFO amount and pension.

The EPFO is developing mobile application to make most of its services online for the convenience of subscribers.

The withdraw process time of the claims will come down with mobile application. The account verification will be done through electronic know your customer using the Aadhar number of the subscriber.

EPFO has 3.84 crore subscribers, out of which about 1.4 crore accounts have been linked to Aadhar number. The EPFO is also introducing various schemes. The members can now apply for housing scheme where the EPFO will certify the amount available with the member’s account.
