Rourkela Steel Plant, a division of Steel Authority of India Limited is inviting applications for various junior level vacancies. Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test and interview. Candidates have apply in the prescribed format available on SAIL website www.sail.co.in . Application fee Rs. 250 has to be paid in the form of DD in favour of “Steel Authority of India Ltd., Rourkela Steel Plant, Rourkela”, payable at Rourkela. SC/ ST/ PWD/ ESM candidates need not pay any fee. Filled in applications in all respects should reach “Asst. General Manager (Personnel – Recruitment), Block-E, Ground Floor, Administration Building, SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant, Rourkela- 769011, Orissa” on or before 04-10-2010.
Following are details of posts and eligibility conditions:
1. Junior Operator/ Technician – cum- Attendant (Trainee): 80 posts; Qualification: Matric and ITI in the trades of fitter/ electrician/ welder/ turner/ machinist/ refrigeration and AC/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Diesel Mechanic. Age: below 28 years.
2. Junior Operator / Technician- cum- attendant (S-1): 50 vacancies; Eligibility: Matric and ITI with minimum 2 years experience in steel industry. Age limit – 30 years.
3. Operator – cum- Technician (S-3): 50 posts; Eligibility: Matriculation and Diploma in Engineering in the discipline of Metallurgy/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Electronics/ Instrumentation. Candidates should have at least 2 years experience in steel industry. Age should be below 30 years.
