Bank of Maharashtra has taken up Probationary Officers (POs) Recruitment Project for 2010. These jobs are in Junior Management Grade- Scale I. Eligible candidates have to apply online only through Banks’ website www.bankofmaharashtra.in Online registration process will open on 31-08-2010 and will be closed on 30-09-2010. The Bank shall conduct a written examination on 19-12-2010 to short list the candidates. Selected candidates will get approximate total emoluments of Rs.21000 per month initially.
There are 150 vacancies in total. These are distributed among SC-23, ST-11, OBC-40 and General-76. Applicants age should be between 21-30 years. Educational Qualification: Any Bachelor’s Degree with 60 % marks or PG with 55% marks or pass in CA / CWA/ ACS. Those having PG Diploma in Management also eligible. Applicants must have sufficient computer knowledge. They should have a certificate from any recognised institution for completing 100 hours of training in comuters.
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in three stages of examinations. These are written test, group discussions and Interview. The Bank may cancel any stage depending on the number of available candidates. Qualifications and experience also will be considered for short listing the candidates. Written Test will have two sections- 1. Objective Test 2. Descriptive Test. Objective Multiple Choice Test will include questions on Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness and English. You can attempt Descriptive Test in English or Hindi languages. Those passed in written test will be called for GD or Interview in the ratio of 1:3. The Bank also providing pre examination training for SC, ST and Minority candidates.
