Jesudasu Seelam, known as J.D. Seelam is a Member of Rajya Sabha in the Parliament of India. He is representing the Congress Party. He belongs to Pusulur village of Guntur District. J.D. Seelam was born on 13th August 1953 at Pusulur, Pedanandipadu Mandal, Guntur district. His parents are Abraham Seelam and Smt Annapurnamma Seelam. He was married to Smt. Sujatha Seelam and they have one son and two daughters. J.D. Seelam studied B.Sc. in Andhra Christian College and later M.Sc, Chemistry in Andhra University, Waltair, Visakhapatnam. J.D.
