Nandi Yellaiah is an MP of the Congress Party. He is a senior politician from the Congress Party in Andhra Pradesh. His parents are Nandi Nagaiah and Nandi Narsamma. Nandi Yellaiah was born on 1 July 1942 at Musheerabad in Hyderabad. He was married and had two sons and two daughters. Nandi Yellaiah studied matriculation and his permanent address is at H.No. 1-9-19/63, Ramnagar, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh – 500020.
Yellaiah was a senate member of OU during 1969-72. Nandi Yellaiah was elected to Parliament as an MP of Lok Sabha during 1979. He was board member of Shramic Vidyapeeth, Hyderabad. He was again elected to Lok Sabha during 1989-91 and served in various house committees.
Yellaiah also held several positions in the Congress party. He was a Vice President of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC). He was elected to Rajya Sabha in 2002 and again in 2008. He will continue as a Rajya Sabha Member till 2014. He is a member of committees like Committee on Urban Development, Committee on the Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and Committee on Railways etc.
