Ravu Venkata Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao (RVSK Ranga Rao) is recently in news after resigning from the Congress Party. He also quit as an MLA of the Bobbili Assembly Constituency of the Vizianagaram district in Andhra Pradesh. Ranga Rao has openly expressed his loyalty to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and made his intentions clear to join YSR Congress Party. Hailing from erstwhile Bobbili Kingdom, Ranga Rao is a second term MLA from Bobbili Constituency.
RSVK Ranga Rao had won from Bobbili Constituency in 2004 and 2009 Assembly elections consecutively. He was elected both times on the Congress party ticket. It is reported that Ranga Rao has not been happy with the dominance of Botcha Satyanarayana and his family in the Vizianagaram district. His resignation has to be accepted by the speaker.
