T. Harish Rao is a key politician in Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party since its inception. He is the nephew of TRS President K.Chandra Sekhar Rao. Harish Rao is representing Siddipet Assembly constituency (220), Medak District, Andhra Pradesh and has been MLA for 3 terms. He won from Siddipet Assembly Constituency with a record majority of more than 80000 votes against his rival Babu Mohan of Telugu Desam Party in the recent bye elections held in 2010 in the wake of mass resignations by TRS MLAs for the cause of Telangana statehood.
