Thota Gopala Krishna is the Vice President of the YSR Congress Party lead by Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Gopala Krishna represented Peddapuram Aeembly Constituency of East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. He won from Peddapuram Constituency in 2004 elections and was defeated in 2009 Assembly elections. Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) candidate Gandhi Mohan won from Peddapuram Constituency in 2009 elections. Peddapuram comes under Kakinada Parliamentary Constituency.
