Good news fort the contract workers of APSRTC. The drivers and conductors working on contract basis in APSRTC have been regularised by the APSRTC, Government of Andhra Pradesh. With this, 1213 contract employees of APSRTC will considered as permanent employees of the corporation.
Conductors and Drivers:
APSRTC has regularised services of 866 conductors and 347 drivers. The new pay revision will come into force in AP from 1st April 2019. All the regularised employees will be paid Rs.26000 per month from 1st April 2019. Their previous salary was Rs.13700.
Orders were released by APSRTC for the regularisation of employees. This is one of the demands of RTC contract employees for a long time. APSRTC Employees Union (EU) has informed that all 1213 contract staff in the corporation will receive regularisation orders by March 15. They will also get revised salaries on par with the 54,000 regular employees.
New Pay Revision Salaries:
APSRTC staff will get new pay revision salaries from 1st April 2019. As per the pay revision, newly regularised staff also will be benefited. Drivers will get Rs.26000 and conductors will be paid Rs.25000 per month.
