Simhakutty Varthaman, father of Abhinandan Varthaman was Air Marshal of IAF during Kargil war with Pakistan. He has played crucial role in all the IAF activities invloved along with border. Tanvi Marwaha, wife of Abhinandan was a also pilot in IAF before retirement. She retired in the position of squdron leader of IAF.
