With the Government of Andhra Pradesh is gearing up to start the entire administration from Amaravati from June 2016, the rentals in Vijayawada city and surroundings are increasing leaps and bounds. The monthly rentals have been increased around 40-50 percent within an year in Vijayawada.
The middle class people and low income groups are suffering with the sudden rise of rentals in Vijayawada. A 2 BHK flat / house costs anywhere around Rs. 12000 – 14000 per month. With this, the people are shifting slowly towards outskirts. Rentals of office premises and commercial spaces also increased more than 50 percent.
