SBI Cash Transfer through ATM using Debit Card

State Bank of India (SBI), India’s largest Public Sector Bank has introduced a new customer service. Now you can send the cash from your account to another account through ATM itself. You need not visit a SBI branch to execute this cash transfer. The new process is quick and easy and free of cost. All that you need is the Debit Card Number of the beneficiary account holder. Here are more details and procedure to use this service:

1) Just swipe your Debit Card and select ‘Transfer’ option
2) Should enter your PIN number
3) Then select ‘Card to Card Transfer’
4) Now enter the beneficiary SBI Debit Card number
5) Enter the amount to be transferred
6) Thats it. The Card to Card transfer is complete.

This is another new facility after SBI Freedom Mobile Banking service, which allows you banking through SMS from you cell phone. This Cash / Funds Transfer service is available across all the 26000+ ATMs of State Bank Group. The beneficiary will receive the amount immediately. There are transaction limits under this facility. You can transfer a maximum of Rs. 15000 per transaction. You will be allowed to perform two transactions per day. That means you can transfer a maximum amount of Rs. 30000 per day.
