South Central Railway (SCR) has come up with JTBS (Jansadharan Ticket Booking Sewak) counters to reduce the congestion and long queues at Ticket Booking Counters at Railway Stations. The SCR has permitted sale of un-reserved tickets through authorized Private Agencies (Called Jansadharan Ticket Booking Sewak, JTBS) at the station premises. Apart from this, Indian Railways is also offering ticket booking through mobile phones, which is much more easier for passengers.
Jansadharan Ticket Booking Sewak (JTBS) counters in cities and towns of Andhra Pradesh: Anakapalli, Aurangabad, Bapatla, Bellampalli, Bhimavaram, Dharmabad, Gudivada, Guntakal, Guntur, Kakinada, Khammam, Mahabubnagar, Mancherial, Nanded, Nidadavolu, Parbhani, Parli – Vaijnath, Partur, Secunderabad / Hyderabad, Shadnagar, Tadepalligudem, Tandur, Tirupati, Vikarabad and Yadgir.
Passengers can buy un-reserved tickets at these JTBSs also, where the queue lengths are minimal.
