The Central Election Commission has announced the by – elections schedule for Warangal Lok Sabha seat in Telangana State. The by election will take place on November 21st and the poll results will be announced on 24th of November 2015.
The election commission has announced the detailed schedule for Warangala by election on 28th October 2015. November 4th is the last date for filing nominations. The nominations can be withdrawn before 7th November.
The election for the Warangal Lok Sabha seat became imminent as Kadiyam Srihari, who represented the constituency earlier vacated to become the member of Telangana state cabinet and member of Legislative Assembly.
Former MP S Rajaiah of the Congress has lost the election against Kadiam Srihari in 2014 general elections. Rajaiah may be fielded again by the Congress Party. The TRS is weighing various options and thinking of fielding Gundu Sudha Rani, TDP Rajya Sabha member after inviting her into the Party. The BJP-TDP combine also in search of a strong candidate.
