Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced all new YSR Pension Kanuka scheme for the old age people, disabled, and various other sections of society. Pension amount has been increased to all the categories and age criteria also changes for senior citizens. Following are the latest guidelines on YSR Pension Kanuka.
1) Old Age pension (OAP), Widow, Weavers, Toddy Tappers, Fishermen, Single Women, Traditional Cobblers and PLHIV (ART Pensions) categories enhanced from Rs.2000 to Rs.2250. An amount of Rs.250 will be added every year for the coming 4 years.
2) YSR Pension Kanuka under Disabled Pensions also has been enhanced to Rs.3000 per month.
3) CKDU / Dialysis Pensions enhanced to Rs 10000 under YSR Pension Kanuka.
4) Age for Old Age Pensioners (OAP) has been reducecd from 65 to 60 years.
All the changes will come into force from 1st July 2019. First pension under new scheme will be disbursed on 8th July 2019 to mark the birth anniversary of YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
Application Process:
Applications for YSR Pension Kanuka will be invited at the village level and collected by the revenue officials concerned. People have to submit age proof and other documents as required by the officials.
