Employees working in Maharashtra can check their PF Account balance, details of transactions and transfers online through EPFO websites mentioned below. Presently Maharashtra EPFO is providing online EPF checking facility for the 11 PF offices located at Bandra (Mumbai-I), Nasik, Malad (Kandivali), Aurangabad, Nagpur, Akola, Kolhapur, Pune, Solhapur, Thane (Mumbai- II) and Vashi. These regional offices update the PF accounts mostly on daily basis. Read this data as in the order of Region Name, Region Code, EPF Office Code, Office Name.

You have to enter Employee PF Account Number, Name (as appears in EPF Slip) and Mobile number to get the PF account balance and status to your mobile. Sometimes you may not get the SMS from EPFO immediately due to technical snags and other reasons. But most of the times it delivers the SMS with your PF details within 5 minutes. I have submitted my pension form No.40466/397 in the month of Aug. 2010
After that I have not received any information about it.
In Nov 2011 I visited in your office. Status checked in computer and inform me that claim is rejected and application send back to your company.
I checked application form in company, but it is not received back to company.
In Jan 2012 again I visited in your office and inquire about form & it is found in pending file in march ending 2011.
Your employee Mr. Deepak inform me that claim will be process now & within one month you will get information.
On Dt.13 Feb. I visited to your office, I found claim form pending in the same file.
I saw remark on the form, Birth date miss match with form and Scheme certificate.
On Dt. 14 I have given the proof of birth date. (Xerox copy of birth date attached)
Please do the needful and process my form as early as possible.

My PF a/c MH/18734/17516 was opened by Patni Comp Ltd. I initiated the process of PF retrival only in October 2009. I received a letter from company’s concerned authorities and a letter from Mr. S Y Pol, Account Officer, Regional PF Office, Mumbai stating that my PF refund has already been satiated/retrieved and that it has been closed in 2007 – 2008. I have been following up for this delaying and traumatizing matter for he last 9 months and till date there is no refund.
