Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao, more popular as KTR is Minister in the first cabinet of Telangana. KTR has emerged as strong politician in the TRS and presently representing in Legislative Assembly from Siricilla Assembly Constituency. Following is the brief profile cum biodata of KT Rama Rao.
KTR won Assembly elections continuously in 2009 and 2014 on TRS party ticket from Siricilla Assembly Constituency. He was born in Siddipet and son of K. Chandrashekhar Rao, Chief Minister of Telangana and founder of Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
KTR has completed his schooling from St. George’s Grammar school at Abids, Hyderabad. He studied B.Sc in Microbiology from Nizam college. KT Rama Rao has two post-graduate degrees. He did M.Sc in Biotechnology from University of Pune and also had a PG from City University of New York, USA. KTR also studied MBA in Marketing and E-commerce.
KTR has a sister, Kavitha, who is also a politician. Kavitha is President of Telangana Jagruthi and MP from Nizamabad Lok Sabha Constituency.
KTR worked in USA for a while and later moved to India. He played key role in TRS from 2006. KTR is married to Shailima and they have two children, Himanshu and Alekhya.
KCR has a sister, Kavitha, who is also a politician. Kavitha is President of Telangana Jagruthi and MP from Nizamabad Lok Sabha Constituency.
