P.Narayana is presently serving as minister of municipal administration, urban planning and development in the cabinet of N . Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh. He is likely to be allocated an MLC seat under governor’s quota. Following is the profile of Dr. P.Narayana.
Narayana has started his academic career as a teacher of mathematics. He started a coaching centre for maths in 1979. Now the Narayana group of educational institutions has spread into coaching, schools, colleges, etc. The institutions are spread across the states of AP, Telangana and North India.
Narayana has studied M.Sc and Ph.D. He entered into politics in 2014. He did not contest the elections but played key role in the victory of TDP in northern part of the AP.
Narayana has been inducted into the cabinet of Chandrababu Naidu as minister for municipal administration, urban planning and development. He is also leading a team to develop capital for Andhra Pradesh.
