Profile of T Devender Goud- Medchal

Tulla Devender Goud is a senior leader of the Telugu Desam Party. He served as Minister for Revenue and Home during the administration of Chandrababu Naidu. He quit the TDP before 2009 Assembly elections for formed Nava Telangana Praja Party (NTPP). Devender Goud later merged NTPP with Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam. Devender Goud contested from Ibrahimpatnam Assembly Constituency on the PRP ticket in 2009 Assembly Elections and lost the seat to the Congress Party.

T Devender Goud was considered as number two leader in TDP before he quit the party. He Contested and won 3 terms from Medchal Assembly Constituency of Ranga Reddy District in Andhra Pradesh. He served as minister for BC Welfare and Prohibition in the cabinet of NT Rama Rao. He also served in crucial positions in the TDP such as Polit Bureau Member and Deputy Leader of the TDP Legislature Party.
