Following are the details of present strength of various political parties in Rajasthan Assembly elections. The As per the assembly record on the date here is the present party position in the House.
The ruling Congress holds 102 seats of the total 200 seats,followedby BJP with 79 seats as an opposition. Remaining seats are CPM (03), SP(01), JD-U(01), Loktantrik Samajwadi Party(01) and Indepedents(13).
The process for the December 1 assembly elections in Rajasthan has began today with the release of the notification on 5th November 2013.
The process of filing nominations is opened that would continue until November 12. Scrutiny will be done on 13th November and withdrawals can be made by November 16. The polling will be held on 1st December and counting of votes will take place on 8th December 2013.
