The 17th International Children’s Film Festival has begun in Hyderabad on November 14, 2011. The ICFF will be held till November 20, 2011. About 150 films from 40 countries will be screens on 11 screens located at various places in Hyderabad and Secunderabad. There are fifteen awards to be given in four competition categories. The categories are International (features 15 films), India (10 films), Shorts (24 films) and Little Directors (11 films). Apart from these regular categories, there are three new competitive sections. These are Competition Shorts, Competition India and Competition Little Directors.
