Government of AP has approved 20 percent IR for the Government employees of the state. The increased IR will come into force from 1st July 2018. The proposed IR (Interim Relief) will be implemented from June 2019.
The IR decision has been taken considering the delay in PRC recommendations. APNGO Associations have expressed satisfaction over the IR.
Apart from this, AP cabinet has taken several other important decisions. These include implementation of minimum time scale to contract teachers. They will be eligible for Chandranna Bima scheme as well. The issue of 1998 and 2008 DSC recruitments also will be solved soon.
AP Government has also proposed to develop Eluru as smart city. The cabinet has also approved to set up an University in Vizianagaram along with a medical college and hospital. Land allotments for several projects also have been approved by the cabinet.
