27 Percent IR for Government Employees in AP – Salaries of Various Cadre

Good news for Government employees in Andhra Pradesh. The AP Government has announced 27 percent IR for the employees. This will come into force from 1st July 2019. With this IR, the salaries of government employees will be increased considerably.

IR Calculation:

IR will be calculated for various cadre employees as mentioned below. The salaries of government employees of various cadre after IR is as follows:

Attender: Rs. 13000 (Basic) – Rs.3510 (IR)
Junior Assistant: Rs.16400 (basic) – Rs.4428 (IR)
Seninor Assistant: Rs. 22460 (Basic) – Rs.6064 (IR)
Deputy Tahasildar: Rs. 28940 (Basic) – Rs.7814 (IR)
Tahasildar: Rs. 35120 (Basic) – Rs.9482 (IR)

AP Employees get 27 percent IR from Jagan Government

Example 1:

A deputy Tahasildar is working in Amaravati, capital of AP as Deputy Tahasildar. His basic salary is Rs.61450 and he has 32 years service. He will get Rs.16592 as IR after the latest revision.

Example 2:

If an employee works for 4 years in senior assistant cadre, he / she will get Rs.25140 as basic salary. Then the IR of the employee is Rs.6788.

The 27 percent IR is applicable for the employees working in aided institutions, workcharged employees, and for those getting revised pay scales of 2015 pay commission.

IR on basic only:

IR will be calculated on basic salary only. Other perks will not be considered. Earlier Government has announced 20 percent IR for employees. YSRCP Government has scrapped that GO and announced 27 percent IR.
