1) Amaravati: This will be the Legislative Capital of AP. Assembly and Legislative Council will be set up here. Government has proposed this in the wake of lack of funds to build a new capital.

2) Visakhapatnam: This will be the executive capital of AP and center point of administration. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is of the opinion that the Government need not spend much here as the city already has facilities. Metro rail will be added to clear transport problems.

3) Kurnool – Judicial Capital: Kurnool will host all the judicial activities as Judicial capital. High Court and other facilities for judges and advocates will be considered here.

TDP and Janasena leaders have criticised the proposal of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The previous TDP Government has acquired thousands of acres of land from people through land pooling scheme for the construction of Amaravati.
