The Chandrababu Naidu government in Andhra Pradesh has announced new airports one each for Srikakulam and Vizianagaram. Just think who travels and to where from these airports.
The entire vision statement of Chandrababu Naidu seems to be a mockery. If not so, what is the logic in announcing airports for all the towns in Andhra Pradesh.
There is no single large industry in Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts. Instead of allocating government lands for private persons in the name of airports, establishing small industrial zones will help the people to get employment opportunities.
North Andhra excluding a few parts of Visakhapatnam district is under developed in the state. The establishment of agriculture and allied services based industries than green field airports, tourism parks and smart cities will help the common people.
