Government of Andhra Pradesh has hinted that the it may go for reverse tendering in prestigious Amaravati Happy Nest project. This is the residential apartment project launched by previous Chandrababu Naidu Government at Nelapadu. People across the globe have shown interest in the project booked apartments making it an instant success.
Reverse Tendering to Reduce Cost:
The new dispensation in Andhra Pradesh has almost decided to go for re-tendering or reverse tendering as it calls for Happy Nest project. The minister concerned says that the efforts will be made to reduce the cost of the project and the benefit will be passed on to the buyers.
But the buyers are worried over the increasing cost of labour and construction material and further delay of the completion of the project. The dream housing project of earlier Government may land in trouble if Government fails to deliver the project on time.
Confusion over Capital Amaravati:
With increasing confustion over status of Amaravati as capital, the prices of properties have already been nosedived in CRDA region and its surroundings, those put their money in Happy Nest project expecting good returns are in despair now over the fate of the investment.
