The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued guidelines for teachers transfers through issuing GO No. 63. The guidelines and rules of transfers are called Andhra Pradesh Teachers (Regulation of Transfers) Rules 2015-16. The transfer guidelines are applicable to head masters, school assistants, secondary grade teachers and other equivalent categories.
The teachers who have completed 8 years of service in a place, vacancies available at the time of regularisation and vacancies arise due to regularisation will be taken into consideration while conducting counseling for teachers transfers as per the rules.
The Commissioner of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh will announce schedule of counseling. The details of points and service rules are available in the GO released by the Government.
The counseling process involve various stages like, showing vacancies list, submission of online applications, tentative seniority list on the website, approval of applications, entering web options and issuing of transfer orders by authorities.
