Government of Andhra Pradesh has lifted the restrictions on registration of properties in CRDA villages. Land transactions in all the 29 villages can be done anywhere across the state.
Earlier CRDA has confined the registration of properties in these villages at only four SROs in CRDA area. This hurdle has been removed as the land pooling and allotment of lands to farmers has been completed.
Lands and plots in CRDA villages were integrated online with all SROs in the state. This facilitates anywhere registration of lands and plots of CRDA villages. The initiative will boost the land transactions in CRDA villages.
But the lands and plots given to CRDA by farmers have to be registered in the SROs in capital region only. The old system of registration will continue for these lands. Easing of registration rules will increase the transactions in CRDA region.
