AP Budget 2019-20 Highlights and Allocations

AP Government is all set to present budget to the Assembly for the year 2019-20. Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath will submit the state budget. Following are the proposed allocations for various sectors in AP Budget 2019-20:

1) Agriculture Budget: Rs.28886 crores
2) Separate budget allocations for the implementation of Navaratnalu schemes.
3) YSR Pension Kanuka: Rs.18000 crores
4) Amma Vodi Scheme: Rs. 6500 crores
5) YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme: Rs. 8500 crores

6) Housing: Rs.8000 crores
7) Water Resources: Rs.12000 crores
8) Health and Family Welfare: Rs.12000 crores
9) Infrastructure in Schools: Rs. 2000 crores
10) Crop Insurance Scheme: Rs. 2163 crores

11) Disaster Management: Rs. 2000 crores
12) Price Stabilisation: Rs.3000 crores
13) Power Subsidies: Rs. 5000 crores
14) Compensation to Agrigold Victims: Rs.1150 crores

The AP budget is likely to focus on allocations for agriculture sector. Various welfare schemes of the Government may also get good allocations.
