The Government of Andhra Pradesh has released the GO related to the border villages of the new capital city in Guntur – Vijayawada region. The region known as Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) will cover 58 revenue mandals Krishna and Guntur districts of Andhra Pradesh. The total area of the capital will consist of 7068 square kilo meters.
Out of these total 58 mandals, 33 mandals will be completely covered in the capital region and 25 mandals will partially cover the capital city region. The proposed mandals from both Krishna and Guntur districts are given below:
Krishna District: Vijayawada Rural, Vijayawada Urban, Ibrahimpatnam, Penamaluru, Gannavaram, Vungutur, Kankipadu, Vuyyur, G.Kondur, Kanchikacharla, Veerulapadu, Aagiripalli, Pamidimukkala, Pedaparupudi, Totla Vallur. All the villages and towns in these mandals will comes under the purview of CRDA.
Guntur District: Tadepalli, Mangalagiri, Tullur, Duggirala, Tenali, Tadikonda, Guntur, Chebrolu, Medikonduru, Peda Kakani, Vatti Cherukuru, Amaravathi, Kollipara, Vemur, Kollur, Amruthaluru, Chunduru and Pedakurapadu.
Apart from these, the Government of AP has also released the list of mandals will be partially covered in CRDA. The Government has given the powers to CRDA for land pooling in all these mandals.
