Andhra Pradesh is voting today to elect 175 Assembly candidates (MLAs) and 25 Lok Sabha candidates (MPs). It is going to be a fierce battle in Andhra Pradesh with TDP is fighting alone this time. Opposition YSR Congress appears equally strong and confident of coming to power. TDP has implemented several welfare schemes in the past two months and hoping to return to the power with decent majority. Following are polling updates of AP elections 2019:
In 2014, ABout 78 percent of voters have exercised their vote. More than 80 percent voting is recorded in 86 assembly constituencies. Lets hope for more voting percentages this time.
Polling Updates on 11 April 2019:
8-50 AM: Polling is not started in Nandyal till now. There are reports of technical issues across the state. EVMs are creating problems in polling.
8-10 AM: Problems with VVPATs still continuing and polling has not been started in several constituencies which may dent overall polling percentages.
8 AM: YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his wife Bharathi have exercised their franchise in Pulivendula Constituency.
7 AM: Polling has been started across the state. There are reports of problems with VVPATs not working in several constituencies in Srikakulam district and Prakasam district.
