Government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to allocate unique identification number to lands in Andhra Pradesh. The ID number will be given to all government and private lands in the state under Bhudhaar / Bhudhar / Bhu- Dhar programme.
Bhudhar is like Aadhaar for people:
11 digit Bhudhar number is identical to Aadhar identification number for individuals. It will be a 11 digit unique number that will be issued for every plot and agricultural land in Andhra Pradesh. The number will start with 99.
Pilot Project in Krishna District:
Initially, Bhudhar numbers will be allotted to lands in villages of Jaggaiahpet mandal / Vuyyuru minucipal area. The villages include in Jaggayyaper mandal are annavaram, SK Mahmadpet, Gouravaram, Vedadri, Takkellapadu etc.
Permanent Bhudhar with 28:
Based on the details in Bhudhar, the government will issue permanent Bhudhar number which will start with 28. The programme will be extended to all the districts by October 2018. This is being taken up as part of the Land Hub project called ‘Bhu Seva’ by Govt. of AP. It is first of its kind in the country.
As part of Bhudhar, survey and mapping of lands will be done in a foolproof manner to check irregularities in land transactions. All the prohibited lands, agriculture, forest, government and private lands will be part of the project.
