Marri Raja Sekhar is a former MLA from Chilakaluripet Assembly constituency in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. He won in 2004 Assembly elections as an independent candidate and later joined in the Congress Party. Rajasekhar is presently associated with YSR Congress party of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Rajasekhar was defeated by Prattipati Pulla Rao of TDP in 2009 Assembly elections. Following is the brief biodata / profile of Marri Rajasekhar:
Rajasekhar is basically an advocate. He studied B.Com, B.L. He bron on 15th August 1957 in Thikkireddypalem of Guntur district. Rajasekhar entered into active politics of the constituency after the demise of his uncle Somepally Sambaiah. Presently Rajasekhar is Guntur District Convener of YSR Congress.
