The TDP seems to have strong hopes on coming to power in Telangana. Chandrabadu naidu’s frequent comments on coming to power in Telangana in or before 2019 elections indicating he has some political strategies on Telangana.
The TDP may also expecting political and power crisis in Telangana. The lack of leadership in the Congress party in Telangana will benefit the TDP in the future political scenario.
Though TRS gained some seats in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Khammam districts, the party may find it difficult to make deep roots in these areas.
The TDP – BJP alliance and BC vote card along with promise of stable governance and Hyderabad development brand may be important deciding factors in future politics of Telangana.
