CBI former joint director V.V. Lakshminarayana is all set to launch a new political party. He is likely to announce his party name, flag and agenda on 26th November 2018. He is former IPS officer and quit the post to test his metal in active politics. He is known for his inspiring speeches on APJ Abdul Kalam, Swami Vivekananda etc.
Known for dealing VIP cases:
Lakshminarayana is known for his handling of VIP cases. He dealt with the cases of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Satyam Computers, Gali Janardhan Reddy, etc. He became popular with his own style of enquiry and arrests in these cases.
Study on villages:
Lakshminarayana has been touring Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to study the problems being faced by farmers and labourers. He has interacted with several college students and created awareness on the issues of farmers. His party is likely to focus on reforms in agriculture, health and education sectors.
Personal Life:
V.V. Lakshmi Narayana is from Kadapa district. He studied in Srisailam. He has completed Engineering from NIT Warangal and later M.Tech from IIT Chennai. He was a topper of Civil Services exam and opted for IPS. His son, Sai Praneeth also has cleared Civil Services exam 2017 and opted for IPS.
