Chandranna Pelli Kanuka – Online Application and Certificates Required

Chandranna Pelli Kanuka is another popular scheme of Chandrababu Naidu Government in Andhra Pradesh. The scheme is aimed at providing financial assistance to the poor brides and bridegrooms. The amount of benefit varies for various communities from Rs.35000 to Rs.75000. Following are the details of the scheme, online application process and selection method.

Documents / Certificates required:

1) Date of Birth Certificate (SSC / Integrated Mee Seva Certificate)
2) Disability (SADAREM) certificate if bride/ bridegroom is differently abled person.
3) Integrated Certificate from Mee Seva as proof of caste.
4) White ration card / Income certificate from Mee Seva in proof of income.

5) ID proofs for AP Building and Construction Workers Welfare Board.
6) Aadhaar and Bank Account link
7) First time married persons only eligible for this scheme.
8) Widows also eligible if they get married again. But they should not be getting widow pension.

There are no educational qualifications for this scheme. Illeterates also can apply. The applicants have to enroll in Praja Sadhakara Survey (PSS).

Release of Amount under Pelli Kanuka:

20 percent of the sanctioned amount will be credited to bank account after verification. The reamining 80 percent amount will be credited after marriage verification. Marriage certificate also will be issued as part of Chandranna Pelli Kanuka scheme.

Online Applications:

The eligible beneficiaries can apply for Chandranna Pelli Kanuka scheme through online mode only. You can log on to http://www.chpk.ap.gov.in for online submission of application. There are separate application format for SC, STs and Disabled Persons.
