Chattisgarh is going for assembly elections on November 11 and 19, 2013. This will be a two phase election in the state. There are 90 assembly constituencies in chattisgarh. The counting of votes will be done on 8th December 2013.
The political observers feel that the BJP has fair chances of retaining power in chattisgarh on the grounds of good governance.
BJP chief minister Raman Singh has put the state on top of the charts of several development indicators.

BJP: 50 seats
The Congress party: 38 seats
BSP: 2 seats.
This is the second term for BJP. It will be a hatrick win for the BJP is it retains power in 2013 elections as well.
