Congress Party has released first list of candidates for the coming Lok Sabha elections – 2019. The seats of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi also have been announced. They will contest from their traditional bastions, Rae Bareli and Amethi respectively.
15 Candidates from UP and Gujarat:
Congress Election Committee has releaselld 1st list with 15 candidates for Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. By annoucing Sonia gandhi’s name for Rae Bareli, the Congress party ended the suspense over her continuation in active politics.
The name of Priyanka Gandhi did not appear in the first list of candidates. She was appointed to take care of UP elections. Priyanka may be allotted a seat in the coming list. Here is the list of candidates announced by the Congress party.
