Telangana State Police department has announced digital pass (epass) system for the migrants and those want to travel to their home towns and villages during lockdown. DGP of Telangana Mahdender Reddy has informed the public to avail the digital pass facility through tsp.koopid.ai/epass portal . Following is the step by step procedure to apply for download digital pass from the portal.
- Log on to tsp.koopid.ai/epass
- Enter you name, mobile number, other data as required
- Click on submit
- Download digital pass after due approval by the police department.
7000 epasses issued:
Telangana police have informed that they have already issued 7000 epasses after scrutiny of the online applications. There is huge rush from the people to reach their hometowns and villages from Hyderabad.
10000 application pending:
It is also informed that about 10000 more online applications for digital epass are in line and the server is down due to bandwidth issues. The portal tsp.koopid.ai/epass will be restored and passes will be issued again.
Message from server on 3rd May 2020:
- We have got overwhelming response from stranded families who are looking forward to get their travel pass to other States approved by the Telangana State Authorities.
- The number of passes approved since morning today are almost close to 7000 with additional 10000 in the queue waiting for validation and approvals.
- Considering the above, the website is being refreshed to accept any fresh requests.
- We request you to allow couple of hours before raising any fresh requests to avoid overloading.
- Site wil open up for new requests at 15:30 IST.
Lets hope the server will be resumed on time and issue of passes will continue for the needy people.
