Corona Hotspot Districts in Telangana and AP

Government of India has announced corona hotspots in various states of the country. There are 170 districts across 25 states in the country which are identified as covid hotspots. The districts with more than 15 corona cases are categorised as hotspots. Districts with no positive cases so far have been identified as green zones. There are 353 green zones across the country.

Hotspots in Telangana State:

Following districts in Telangana have been declared as hotspots of corona as they recorded more than 15 cases: Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Warangal Urban, Rangareddy, Jogulamba Gadwal, Medchal Malkajgiri, Karimnagar, Nirmal. Nalgonda district is categorised as hotspot district with clusters.

Corona Hotspots in AP:

In Andhra Pradesh, following districts are categorised as Corona hotspots: Kurnool, Guntur, Nellore, Prakasam, Krishna, Kadapa, West Godavari, Chittoor, Visakhapatnam, East Godavati and Anantapuram.

Orange Zones:

Hotspot districts with no new corona positive cased in the past 14 days will be treated as Orange Zones. Those districts will be converted into green zones if no new cases are reported for 28 days.
