Government of Delhi has introduced online bus pass facility for the convenience of commuters in National Capital Region (NCR). The commuters can avail this facility through www.dtcpass.delhi.gov.in . The Delhi Government has made only general bus passes online at the moment. All other passes, student pass, senior citizens pass etc will be offline and may become online soon.
Services Offered:
Online bus passes are available for Delhi public for various bus services. These include the following services:
1) General – All routes (AC and Non AC buses)
2) Airport Express Services
3) Delhi NCR Airport Services
4) Delhi to NCR (Gurugram, Faridabad, Bahadur Garh and Ghaziabad).
Home Delivery:
Bus passes, if approved will be delivered to the home / address of the applicant by transport authorities. All that you need is to apply online for the relevant bus pass.
There are three steps involved in online application process.
1) Submit online application form
2) Pay the fee (charges of bus pass) online
3) Bus pass will be delivered within 5 working days to the address of the applicant.
Following are the monthly charges of Delhi Bus Passes – General Pass:
General all route Non-AC bus: Rs.800/-
General all route AC bus: Rs.1000/-
Airport Express / Coaches AC and Non AC bus (in NCTof Delhi Only): Rs.1400/-
Delhi-NCR-Airport AC and Non Ac bus: Rs.1800/-
Delhi to Gurgaon: Rs.1500/-
Delhi to Faridabad: Rs.1800/-
Delhi to Bahadurgarh: Rs.1160/-
Delhi to Ghaziabad: Rs.1640/-
