The student wing of the Congress Party, NSUI has swept almost all of the panel sets of Delhi University Student’s Union (DUSU). The ABVP cadre has made several allegations on the elections and did not accept the results.
The NSUI panel candidates won the posts of President, Vice President and Secretary. NSUI’s Arun Hooda defeated his ABVP’s Ankit
Dhananjoy Choudhary by a margin of 5,465 votes.
The NSUI has managed to get the majority of the seats after a gap of almost two years. The ABVP panel has won the previous two elections. The other NSUI candidates who tasted success were Varun Khari, and Varun Choudhry.
Varun Khari defeated ABVP’s Gaurav Chaudhary and Varun Choudhry won with a margin of 2,617 against ABVP’s Ritu Rana. Varun Choudhry is the new DUSU Secretary.
