August / September 2012: East Central Railway (ECR) has arranged special trains between Guwahati and Bangalore to meet the rush during the Dasara festival season. The ECR has will run special trains as per the schedule given below to clear the passenger rush on the occassion of festivals in September – October. Following schedules of Special Traines:
1) Train Number 02510 : Guwahati – Bangalore Express (Departs at Guwahati at 1315
hrs on 1 September 9 (Saturday) and Arrives at Visakhapatnam on September 2 at 1000 hrs. The same train will departs at Visakhapatnam at 1020 hrs and reach Bangalore at 1800 hrs on September 3.
2) Train Number 02509 : Bangalore – Guwahati Express (Leave Bangalore at 1010 hrs September 4 (Tuesday) and will reach Visakhapatnam on September 5 at 0520 hrs. The train will leave Visakhapatnam at 0540 hrs and reach Guwahati on September 6 at 1800 hrs.
3) Train Number 07147 : Visakhapatnam – Hyderabad (The train will leave Visakhapatnam at 1905 hrs on Saturdays on October 20 and 27 and will reach Hyderabad at 0850 hrs the next day.
4) Train Number 07148 : Hyderabad – Visakhapatnam (The train will departs at Hyderabad at 1930 hrs on Fridays on October 19 and 26 and reach Visakhapatnam at 0830 hrs the next day.
