Basar Gnana Saraswati temple is known for Aksharabhyams. Thousands of pilgrims visit this temple to get the blessings of Goddess Saraswati to their kids.
The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu has ordered the officials of endowments department to build Saraswathi temple in the new capital city of Amaravathi. He instructed the department to ensure that the new temple would be in the lines of Gnana Saraswathi temple in Basar of Telangana.

Gnana Saraswati Temple at Basar is on the banks of Godavari River at one of the two famous Saraswati temples in India, the other being in Jammu and Kashmir. The proposed Saraswathi temple in Amaravati would be the third of its kind in India.

Gnana Saraswathi temple at Basar is known for Aksharabhyams. People from Telugu states and other states also visit the Temple along with the kids to get the blessings of Goddess Saraswathi before joining the wards in the schools.
