The Government of Andhra Pradesh has released various GOs (Government Orders) at the end of 2014 with regard to the construction of new capital city for the state of Andhra Pradesh. The AP Government has appointed Srikanth, IAS as special officer for the CRDA. The CRDA will function under the chairmanship of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
The government has designed a special website for CRDA with the url www.crda.ap.gov.in . All the latest developments related to capital city construction will be displayed on the website.
The Government has finalised the border villages of the proposed new capital city. The mandals which comes under the purview of CRDA capital city are also identified by the Government. capital mandals have been identified in Guntur and Krishna districts.
The Government has also released a GO related to land pooling scheme. The compensation for various types of lands also have been fixed. The details are given below:
