HMDA – LRS Online Application Process Guidelines – 2015

Following are the instructions to be followed by citizens while apply online for the Layout Regularisation Scheme – 2015 of Government of Telangana. Online applications can be submitted through HMDA website www.hmda.gov.in . Here is the step by step procedure for LRS online application process:

1) Citizes are requested to thoroughly go through the Rules mentioned in GO MS No 151 MA & UD dated 2 November 2015 carefully. This is the GO related to LRS scheme – 2015.

2) Please ensure that the layout / plot you owned in HMDA limits falls in the categories applicable for regularisation of unapproved layouts.

3) Read the online application form carefully and fill up all the columns correctly including personal information, contact details and plot information.

4) You need to obtain the market value certificate of your plot from the concerned sub-registrar office to know the market value of your plot / site as on 28 October 2015 in Rs. Per Sq. Yd. so as to find out the penalization charges to be paid in the form of DD. The Government has relaxed this rule as the information is much available on the HMDA website itself. Check with the concerned authorities.

5) There are number of documents to be attached / scanned / uploaded along with online application for LRS scheme. You can take the help of the Licensed Technical Personnel, Registered Architects to guide you in filling up the Application Form, Calculation of the penalization charges and preparation of the required plans.

6) The Government may also ask for prior clearances from Competent Authority under Urban Land and Agriculture Land Ceiling Laws, Airport Authority / Defense Authorities of India as per GO MS No 151 MA & UD dated 2 November 2015. Get all the required NOCs to be submitted along with application.

7) The initial amount to be paid can be paid through online method. HMDA is accepting online payments through Credit Card, Debit Card,
Net Banking, RTGS / NEFT and eCollection Payment Advise (equivalent to CASH challan)

8) Also endure that the online application is submitted before the last date, that is 31st December 2015. The Government is most likely to extend the last date for at least a month.

9) Take a copy of all the documents you are going to submit for your reference in future and record.

10) Fill up the online application very carefully, scan the documents and submit. You must take a print out of acknowledgement online after submitting the application form. The acknowledgement number has to be quoted for any future correspondence with the authorities.
