The Government of Telangana has all set to restructure the geographical map of Telangana State. The state will now have more districts from Dasara (Vijayadasami), i.e from 11th October 2016, as per the announcement of the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
The Hyderabad will be set up with adding a few more districts under its purview. The new districts in the Hyderabad region will be Vikarabad, Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Samshabad and another district yet to be named by the Government.
The draft plan for the new districts will be ready by August 2016. The government will collect the opinion of the public on the proposed districts and final plan of the new districts will be released in September 2016.
The new collectors, SPs and other machinery of the new districts will take charge from Dasara itself with the commencement of new administration in the new districts. Mandals also will be increased and restructured with proper plan for development.
