Indian Navy Observer Officers July 2011 Course

The Indian Navy has issued notification for July 2011 Course of Observer Officers in Indian Navy in the Aviation Cadre of Executive Branch. Unmarried men and women with qualifications mentioned below are eligible to apply to join as Short Service Commissioned Officers. The course will be conducted at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala. Interested candidates have to apply in the prescribed format available on www.nausena-bharti.nic.in Last date for receipt of properly filled in applications is 08th November 2010. Selected candidates will be appointed as Sub Lieutenant in Indian Navy with CTC of Rs. 58000.

Eligibility and Qualifications:

1. Must be Graduates in any discipline with minimum 65 percent marks. You should have studied Physics and Mathematics at +2 level.
2. Age must be between 19-23 years. You should have born between 02 July 1988 and 01 July 1992.
3. Minimum height for men is 162.5 cms and Women is 152 cms with correlated weight, leg length, sitting height and thigh length.
4. The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6. Should not be colour blind or night blind.

Selection Procedure: Short listed candidates will be called for interview by Service Selection Board based on their marks and qualifications. Interviews will be conducted during January – June 2011 at Bangalore. There will be two stages of interview process. Stage 1 consist of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception Test and Group Discussion. Stage 2 will contain Psychological Tests, Group Task and Personal Interviews.
