Chandrababu Naidu was the architect of modern hyderabad. Many people accept this irrespective of their party and ideological affiliation. But several decisions being taken by Chandrababu Naidu after bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh are exerting negative impact on the Brand Hyderabad.
Hyderabad has not faced the power crisis that it is undergoing at the moment. It is very clear from the indications sent by the Telangana state that the power shortage in the new state will be there for at least two years.
Andhra Pradesh on the other hand, has got good amount of power in the post bifurcation scenario. Being aware of the situation in Hyderabad, Naidu government cancelled PPAs initially and now stopped sharing of power generated from Sileru project.
Chandrabadu naidu also hinted at moving to Vijayawada as soon as possible. All the main offices and officials will be located in Vijayawada thus cutting revenue to Telangana government. The move may also initiate exodus of Seemandhra people from Hyderabad and impact business in Hyderabad.
