The lok sabha / parliament elections 2014 results will be updated here on the counting day, 16th May 2014. The results will also be continuously updated on the national and regional news channels such as NDTV, CNN – IBN, ETV, Sakshi ETV, NTV, Times Now etc.
The exit polls of various news channels and newspapers have predicted majority for BJP / NDA in the Lok Sabha elections. Several exit polls have predicted more than 200 seats for BJP alone and more than 300 seats for NDA parties.
The Congress is likely to be restricted to 80-120 seats, as per the exit polls. On the other hand, BJP seems busy with exercise on portfolios and party berths to its leaders in Modi cabinet.
The regional parties such as AIADMK, Trinamool Congress, TDP, YSRCP, TRS, BSP and SP are likely to play crucial role in the event of hung parliament and may try for third front.
